Chemo today was easy.\u00c2\u00a0 And i’m doing okay w\/ side effects.\u00c2\u00a0 (None so far besides fatigue)\u00c2\u00a0 I didn’t get as tired as I have been.\u00c2\u00a0 Many yawns, but that is it.\u00c2\u00a0 I find that eating helps me stay awake, and I have found a few things I can reliably eat.\u00c2\u00a0 Salad, pasta salad, water, bread.<\/p>\n
I’m getting good at showing up, getting plugged in, and then falling asleep while the IV fluids and Interferon drip into me.\u00c2\u00a0 It does not scare me anymore.<\/p>\n
They drew my blood and did the tests on it.\u00c2\u00a0 My liver function is high, and my white blood cells are low, but this is expected.\u00c2\u00a0 I’ve got 20% more to go before they have to cut the dose.\u00c2\u00a0 But my immune system is close to being compromised.\u00c2\u00a0 They used the word Neutropenic (http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Neutropenia).\u00c2\u00a0 I’m not there yet, but that is the risk.<\/p>\n
I kind of have a little crush on the nurse that does my chemo.\u00c2\u00a0 Not a real crush.\u00c2\u00a0 More like a nurse crush.\u00c2\u00a0 Like a “You just stuck a needle in my arm” crush.\u00c2\u00a0 Its tiny, and by saying it, I either risk killing it all together, or getting it blown out of proportion!\u00c2\u00a0 LOL.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
